Cancellation & Refunds

This page sets out cancellation, pausing, and refund terms for Knox Design Studio's services. It is written primarily for businesses (Unternehmer, § 14 BGB), who have no statutory withdrawal right under § 355 BGB. §5 contains a consumer section, prepared but currently inactive.

• The 50% deposit is due at project start (after the kickoff call) and covers concept work already begun.
• Free rescheduling of the project start is available with at least 5 business days' notice before the agreed sprint/project start.
• Work already delivered and approved by you is non-refundable.
• Cancelling after project start but before delivery is billed pro rata for work completed; the deposit is credited against that amount.

• Cancel any time, effective at the end of the current, already-paid billing month.
• Paid months are not refunded pro rata; the service remains fully available through the end of that month.
• Pausing is available on request and agreed individually.

Where applicable, refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of confirmation.

This site and its prices are addressed to businesses. If Knox Design Studio opens sales to consumers (§ 13 BGB) in future, a statutory 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts would generally apply under § 355 BGB, with the corresponding model withdrawal notice and the gross-price disclosures required by the German Price Indication Ordinance (PAngV). This section will be completed and activated before any such expansion.
